1995-1996 Season

Nunsense, by Dan Goggin

The show is a fundraiser put on by the Little Sisters of Hoboken to raise money to bury sisters accidently poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julia (Child of God). Updated with new jokes, additional lyrics, two new arrangements, and a brand new song, this madcap musical was recorded for television starring Rue McClanahan as the Mother Superior.

A Marriage Proposal, Anton Chekov

When Ivan Vassilevitch Lomov comes to his longtime neighbor, Stepan Stepanovich Chubukov, to propose marriage to Stepan’s daughter Natalya, he is a nervous wreck. Dressed in his finest clothes, Ivan is hopeful that Natalya will say yes and they can live happily ever after! However, soon after Ivan begins his proposal to Natalya, they get into a heated argument about who owns Oxen Meadows, a property nestled between their two houses. Both lose their tempers and the marriage proposal begins to unravel. Chekhov’s hilarious farce is an excellent choice for a small cast of three.
